Tell me your recipe for growing stocky tomato plants from seed.

I want to start my own tomato plants and flowers from seeds this year. Do I have to have natural sunlight on them or can I do something in the basement with the lights on them? I have more space in the basement. thanks

I know some tomato plants have what I call succer limbs that don’t bear tomatoes. I would like to get rid of these before my tomatoes start growing.

Last year, I tried growing tomatoes, and I was a little late. So, what month or time of year should I start growing just regular tomatoes. (not cherry or grape, sandwich tomatoes I guess.) Ha, sorry, I live in Ga…and thanks 4 the help
