Can I grow peppers in between tomatoes? For example I have a row of tomatoes and each plant is spaced 3′ apart. In each 3′ spacing can I grow two pepper plants? Or will the roots knot up, leaves fight too much for light, or take too much nutrients out of the soil? Thank you [...]

I either pull the weeds or hoe them out. It sometimes pulls the tomato plant out too. The weeds grow quickly during a rain when I can’t get out until it dries out. Any suggestions?
